- It is based on the book Wee Sing (later known as Wee Sing Children's Songs and Fingerplays).
- It is the only one to feature Wee Sing Park.
- This video is similar to Barney And The Backyard Gang and Barney And Friends , 3 years later. Also near the end the video, the party guests leave magically, just like Baby Bop and BJ when they leave magically in the Barney And Friends TV series.
- This video was also one of the inspirations for the Barney series as a whole; footage from this video was even used in the Peacock documentary, I Love You You Hate Me
- Wee Sing Together is the first Wee Sing video that had Sally Smith as a talented pointe ballet ballerina girl in the Teddy Bear song.
